<image:title>Our Team old - Pat Skelton, Senior Technical Artist</image:title>
<image:caption>Pat Skelton is a multidisciplinary artist with an MFA in Digital Art, BFA in animation, and nearly 14 years experience working with all things 3D. Prior to joining the RifRaf team, he was hired by Brent to create the 3D content for the collectibles platform Quidd. There he worked hand in hand with mobile developers to build the pipeline and team responsible for producing over 4,000 unique, licensed, collectible 3D models and animated toys for IP such as Disney, Marvel, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Dungeons and Dragons, and more. His first taste for game development came from Global Game Jam. After that his love for world building, and knack for problem solving, made the move to making games full-time a natural transition.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Team old - Brent Boylen, Director of Product Development</image:title>
<image:caption>Brent has been working in the interactive media, game design, and production industries for over 20 years. He’s worked as designer, producer, and studio manager for several developers such as Activision and Gameloft. In 2005 Brent and some past colleagues founded an indie video game studio in lower Manhattan named OneNine Studios, and created 30-plus titles over 7 years. He’s also produced educational software, eBooks, and more games at Scholastic Media, and helped build and scale up a Sequoia-backed digital collectibles platform called Quidd. Brent met Michael in the MBA program at the Zicklin School of Business, and upon hearing Michael’s plans for RifRaf Games, agreed to lend his expertise to build the new studio from the ground up as Director of Product Development.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Team old - Mike O’Neil, Senior Technical Lead</image:title>
<image:caption>Michael O'Neil has been playing video games for over 40 years, and was able to turn that passion into a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from UCSC in 1997. From there he got his first job at EA Sports working on titles like NCAA Basketball and Knockout Kings. He ended up at Relic Entertainment before taking a break to do some world traveling. Once he settled down in New York he co-founded his own mobile game company, 415 Games. With that experience under his belt he was hired by RifRaf Games' very own Brent Boylen at his first company, OneNine Studios. There he was lead on SpongeBob SquarePants amongst other mobile projects, and also led a bi-coastal team on a Hello Kitty: Birthday Adventure for the Nintendo DS. After a short time with PuzzleNation he is now back with Brent where he and the rest of the team are doing what they do best.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Codex Gallery - Frederick Loop</image:title>
<image:caption>Frederick Loop Age: 33 Born: New York, New York Inter-GALACTIC man of mystery, lover of people, idol to millions, and the best hair in ANY corner of the Universe. There’s not much of an audience for hard-hitting journalism in the 2090’s, and the news media is primarily focused on spectacle and celebrity. In this world Frederick Loop is king. He is the world’s most popular hype man, gossip columnist, and host of the biggest talk shows. The Boss approached Loop because he wanted The Majestic's launch to be watched by everyone. There was no other person who could bring this type of attention. Loop wanted to be on The Majestic because he was starting to think that getting away from Earth might be good for him and just might lead to his biggest audience yet. Loop is notoriously private about his personal life, but some of the details are public. Born in luxury in New York City’s’ Greenwich Village, he attended the finest private schools where he was known as a class clown and a bit of a bully. He then attended Harvard (Quadruple legacy) where he rose to become editor of The Harvard Lampoon. Not actually needing any money, Loop spent the years after college aimlessly wandering from one popular vacation spot to another. His big break came after his parents insisted he find something to do with himself if he was going to continue living off family money. Having taken a videography elective in college, Loop was confident he could turn his travels into a show. Like the rest of his life, it just seemed to work out.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Codex Gallery - Stuart Allen Moss</image:title>
<image:caption>Stuart Allen Moss Age: 26 Born: Houston, Texas Stu was part of the first generation to grow up with the wonders of fusion power. Unfortunately, he got the short end of the stick. Texas was hit hard by that rise and with its dependence on the oil industry, Houston was hit worst of all. In the year following the advent of commercial fusion power, the oil market collapsed totally and completely. Suddenly, almost the entire population of Houston (approx 4.5 million) was out of work, including Stu’s parents. Stu’s father became addicted to opioids after spraining his back working in a Company fulfillment center, one of the only jobs left for those without a college education, and his mother was killed in a car accident when Stu was 3. With little to no supervision, Stu didn’t receive a formal education and spent most of his time biking around the derelict city. This led him to an underground race scene and it quickly became clear that he was a once in a generation natural. Stu spent 2 years racing cars in Houston before the entire city ran out of fuel, and looking for his next challenge he applied for the U.S. Space Force. He passed all of the physical exams and piloting tests on the first try, almost unheard of for a new recruit, but he quickly bottomed out due to a total lack of discipline. It was then at age 18 that Stu was approached by a representative of The Boss to race professionally for The Company in the Kiper League. By 19, Stu was at the top of the league. He had the most wins, the fastest ship, and the most prestigious sponsors. But by 23, Stu again grew restless. Not satisfied by his own success, just as suddenly as he had entered the league, he dropped out.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Kerrigan O’Mally Age: 24 Born: Ardpatrick, Ireland Kerrigan O’Mally was born on a farm in rural Ireland. Her parents were part of a movement of traditionalists who entirely reject modern technology. The O’Mally’s grow their own food, tend flocks, and are all-around salt of the earth. Always curious but expressly prohibited from any interaction with modern tech, Kerrigan would steal books and magazines whenever her family went into towns and cities to trade. When she was old enough, she started to steal electronic equipment. She would hide away for hours taking apart and putting things back together, often in new and novel forms. This gave Kerrigan a huge advantage compared to her peers when she applied to Dublin Polytechnic. Thanks to her childhood experiences, along with an uncanny ability to understand technologies new and old, O’Mally was at the top of her class. But upon graduation, she found that many held biases against her due to her background and finding work was incredibly difficult. Taking whatever jobs she could find, O’Mally became a tinker. By repairing antique equipment, she was able to finance her own inventions. While none found commercial success, they did catch the eye of the sponsor of The Majestic program. Hired by The Boss at the last minute, O’Mally had almost no time to learn about The Majestic, but feels she is more than up for the challenge.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Codex Gallery - Doctor Jonathan Carver</image:title>
<image:caption>Doctor Jonathan Carver Age: 55 Born: Philadelphia Jonathan Carver has always found great beauty in science, and was fortunate to experience the positive effects of the shift from fossil fuels to fusion and all of the advancements that came with it. His father was a successful entrepreneur and his mother a college professor. As a child he would go to the Franklin Institute with his family and rush to see every exhibit. He loved walking through the giant heart and listening to museum staff describe how scientists of the past had cured diseases, harnessed the power of electricity, and moved human civilization into the future. Carver never had the skill for art or the faith religion required, but he found a mixture of art and faith in science. Science made the world make sense. And Carver believed cutting edge science was almost a form of magic, a divine sorcery that revealed the underpinnings of the universe. Carver received his PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago and returned home to Philadelphia to teach at the University of Pennsylvania. Carver’s research and writing on black holes, dark matter, and quantum mechanics were so well received that the university would have been happy for him to only teach one class a semester if he wanted—anything for him to be affiliated with the school. But Carver had a deep desire to share his enthusiasm for science with the world. He would teach four, sometimes even five, courses a semester while still conducting research, writing papers, and finding time to fly around the world giving lectures. Carver became a relatively famous personality. In a world in which the pursuit of knowledge was no longer prioritized, he became a proselytizer for the wonders of science. He made a web series in an attempt to make science fun for kids. He answered adults' questions in comical videos and seemed to take real joy from bringing science to the masses. Despite his enthusiasm, Carver is frustrated and resentful of the situation on Earth. In an age of limitless technological advances, the world seems less interested than ever before. He’s never been able to find financing for his show. He relies on interns and teaching assistants to keep everything going and survives off what's left of his pay as a professor. As he toils he sees personalities like Frederick Loop succeed despite their utter lack of content or character. When The Boss approached Carver with an opportunity to travel into space, he couldn’t say no. This was his opportunity to go farther than anyone had before and bring back this experience for all his students on Earth.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Codex Gallery - Doctor Gertrude Grunfeld</image:title>
<image:caption>Doctor Gertrude Grunfeld Age: 55 Born: Strasburg, Carolingian Union Gertrude Grunfeld has always been a serious individual. As a child she had no use for playing pretend or other frivolous activities that children engaged in. She was, and is, just plain mean. She has the ability to identify pain points in others and use it against them mercilessly to get what she needs—sometimes just because she’s bored. She is eloquent, logical, a contrarian, a stickler, brilliant, and insufferable. Grunfeld excelled in school and graduated as valedictorian from the Sorbonne. Her speech to her class is one of the longest in school history, a treatise on everything she saw wrong in education, the school, and her fellow students. She went on to receive her medical degree and almost immediately became a renowned practitioner. She had no bedside manner, but wealthy individuals flew to Juan-les-Pins in the south of France from all over the world to be treated by her. Eventually, Grunfeld’s already limited patience completely evaporated. She despised the daily interactions and moronic conversations of everyday people, and everyday people hated working with her. She couldn’t stand the rules of the university hospital that prevented more exciting—and dangerous—research. She looked to move to a place where nobody would bother her. Grunfeld relocated to Sri Lanka to practice. The main draws were a lack of governmental oversight and the fact that the people she would work with spoke Sinhala, which was not one of the eight languages Grunfeld spoke. With freedom to work how she saw fit and a lack of smalltalk, Grunfeld was in heaven for years. That changed when a rare hemorrhagic fever afflicted her village outside of Uhana. Eighty-percent of the town’s 500 person population was infected and Grunfeld was unable to cure the disease. Grunfeld was quarantining the infected at the town’s school, but the infected population continued to grow. Dr Grunfeld realized that the virus was becoming airborne and soon there would be nothing to stop it. Fortunately for the rest of the world, one night, with the town asleep a fire broke out in the gym and spread with shocking and suspicious speed, destroying all traces of the disease...along with all those inside. Grunfeld was never formally accused of starting the fire, but to her colleagues there was no doubt. She was effectively prohibited from practicing medicine and found herself ostracized from the community.</image:caption>
