Data Access: Exchange

The universe of The Crossing is connected virtually through an elaborate series of networks run by warring factions from different intergalactic races. Luckily for us, Trena can hack into these systems and find what we need, just like back home on Earth. Finding documents, changing bank accounts, overriding security systems, you name it, Trena can access it.

The biggest and most expansive of these networks is the Exchange. All the scum and villainy (as well as many upstanding galactic citizens) have their lives and livelihoods on the Exchange’s network. It has the greatest reach of all, even farther than the CPA.

And don’t forget, once you open a connection to their network, you also open one into your own. Raiders from all the virtual corners in the universe constantly scour for new connections to break into and steal anything they can, regardless of value.
